“After our cruise we’re going to visit family in London, England.
This isn’t my first cruise so I know what to expect on the ship. My concern is all of the trouble they’ve had there lately. We will be flying home from there. As I’m sure alot of you know about all the troubles with the airlines. Here in the U.S. as well as in Europe. Has anyone been on a cruise there? And how were the airports?

I traveled home from London to Houston in June. We flew out of Gatwick Airport. I have never been in an airport that did so many security checks. We were screened before entering the gate area by metal detectors and then once we got to our gate we were screened personally and all of our belongings were checked as well. I know it may sound like an inconvenience but it was not that bad. It actually made me feel really secure.
