Eastern Europe has some good, low cost hotels but beware, taxis and buses are hard to come by so choose a location that’s near all the avenues. While traveling to Eastern Europe, best is to take the pensions where you will be comfortable as well as be able to experience the European atmosphere of the locals. They are also near the bus stops, so cost slightly more than the normal hotels. But it’s worth it! Eastern Europe is famous for its villages, where the popular galas and flea markets are aplenty and have a go at bargaining in the local tongue!
Some of popular places to travel in Eastern Europe will be the Great Masurian Lakes near the border of Poland and Lithunia, the Giant mountains of Slovakia, Croatia Coast and of course the spa towns famous throughout the Eastern Europe. Slovenia’s and Slovakia’s caves and Turin in Poland are a must for eastern European travelers. Travel to Eastern Europe and have a mega time in their various historical sites and castles. People traveling to Eastern Europe must not miss the famous wines and the markets! Those wanting to see all the hooks and corners that offer some beautiful, quaint village setting of Eastern Europe, then better take a car to reach all these destinations. Also before heading for Eastern Europe, spend some time reading about its history and culture so that while you actually visit the mysterious castles and bridges, will be able to appreciate it better. This will make your Eastern Europe travel will become even more memorable.
Well for those traveling to Eastern Europe from outside, language is a real menace! Most can manage somehow and are able to bargain a bit with some stammers. But those traveling towards those isolated areas of Eastern Europe like Poland, Hungary etc better improve your gesturing skills! A simple inquiry might have the local laughing in hilarity at your accent or choice of words! Better still would be to carry a dictionary while traveling that can translate English into the desired eastern European language. So just travel to Eastern Europe for some medieval experience feel the Romany festivals or simply hang around with the locals in the bars. Actually they are very eager to communicate with the travelers and in turn you will be able to hear some exciting folk tales of centuries past!
