Emmett is our mascot – a traveling giraffe that just may not be real, after all. No one could really say for sure.
The town of Emmett is a mystery in its own right as well. Some will tell you that it exists in Idaho, Oregon or Missouri – don’t believe it until you’ve visited yourself. Rumor has it that it is just east of Ontario, odd since Ontario is far east in Canada (amongst other places in this world).
Of course this is all just a jab at travel. The world has become so small to seasoned travelers now that anyplace you choose to visit is just a few hours away from the next fantastic town or country to discover.
Emmett Travel began as a training site, then an ode to travelling to European ports on the fun and fabulous trans-Atlantic cruises (often held in May). That travel itinerary involved six straight days of sea travel – an experience in itself with no one around but your fellow travellers, no land to be seen, for 148 hours.
Today we are a discount shop for student travel, small business travel. We provide tips and links to the best of the best online for saving money on flights, trains, cars and hotels when you’re away from home.

We provide an online travel news and reviews website that enables you to compare prices (coming soon), amass knowledge and find fast links to travel related products and services. This service is provided through this website only. Privacy is a top concern and priority to us and we provide this web page to outline our practices and procedures regarding information collection and use.
